About the role:

As part of our Finance team, you will provide support to ALICE's office operations by performing both temporary and permanent duties. Tasks may be added, dropped, or changed based on future impact of technology and client data management software changes. You will be required to use ALICE's ERP system, named Intacct, daily. Training will be provided, but familiarity and experience with ERP systems is beneficial.

Please note, this job is remote within the U.S. only and pays $17 to $22 per hour.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Oversee the company's payment collection process.
  • Send past due communications.
  • Follow up with customers about their account's payment status.
  • Coordinate with a third-party collection company when needed.
  • Support Accounts Receivable by reconciling daily payments and deposits.
  • Support billing, collections, and account management operations.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned to ensure monthly tasks are completed by deadlines.
  • Cross train on other administrative duties and perform backup duties as needed.
  • Support clients with escalated billing questions.
  • Process a large volume of daily emails.
  • Adapt quickly to change and work under tight deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize with support from Admin lead.
  • Project a professional image; is friendly, pleasant, and courteous when dealing with internal and external clients.
  • Cooperate with Company management by performing any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, legibly speaks, and understands English; must be able to communicate clearly and effectively to clients and ALICE's employees; including strong telephone skills (tone, clarity, grammar, and phone etiquette)
  • Available to work between core hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm ET M-F with some overtime required
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Self-directed with strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Must have the capability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Competency working with spreadsheets and managing large amounts of data
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and develop positive relationships with co-workers
  • Background record is also required

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience working with collections

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Communicates through telephone conversations, face-to-face interactions, texts and email
  • The ability to lift and carry up to 10lbs
  • Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching
  • Read printed materials and a computer screen
  • Stamina needed to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions
  • Must possess the mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment including a computer, keyboard, and telephone
