Director of Product

About the Role:

ALICE is a growing startup serving 2k+ hotels all over the world with a global team of 85 staff spread across 13 countries. Our mission is to help businesses deliver exceptional hospitality with a focus on hotels. We do this by partnering with the world's best hoteliers to build a product that lets them do their best work. We take on the challenge of running the day to day tasks of every department in a hotel through a unified platform. 

ALICE is looking for a Director of Product to run our Product organization and manage our team of Product Managers. The Director will drive the end-to-end Product Management process and will report to the CTO who oversees Product, Design, Engineering and Quality. 

The Director of Product will own the overall product strategy and partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Enterprise and Customer Success function to drive revenue and manage customer satisfaction. The role requires a customer-centric approach, to ensure we are consistently making decisions that help hotel staff do their best work. We are looking for a leader that can bring a data perspective into our product thinking, and is able to combine quantitative and qualitative signals into business strategy.

Our Product team has come to hospitality from other industries and loves applying a diverse perspective to problem solving. We are a small team with a big vision, and this is a chance to shape how a product grows in an evolving industry. 


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in a product role, at least 4 years in a leadership capacity
  • 5+ years of enterprise SaaS
  • Growing a Product department in a complex industry
  • Leading a product execution in an Agile/SCRUM process
  • Excellent organization and planning skills 
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to interact with a diverse set of key stakeholders internally and externally. Demonstrates strong influencing skills cross functionally.  



  • Deliver high quality B2B SaaS solutions to a demanding customer base
  • Create product strategy and lead a product strategy team
  • Identify and assess new hires, and build a recruitment bench
  • Coach staff to become top performers, handle any performance management issues as needed
  • Interact with our clients  and help integrate sales into the product process
  • Manage a complex portfolio of products with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Implement data driven decision-making into product practices
  • Develop relationship within the industry and collaborate with SME consultants/advisors
