Sales and Marketing Internship

We are looking for a brilliant Sales and Marketing Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, ready to learn, and above all passionate about the hospitality industry and the role that technology can have to improve it.

Qualifications:

  • Studying hospitality, marketing, business, or related field
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines
  • Facility with social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)  
  • A strong team player, but also a self-starter
  • Duration: 10-15 hours per week, one semester with the opportunity to extend to a full year
  • Location: New York

Responsibilities:

  • Help with email marketing, including company newsletters
  • Help research journalist contact information for media outreach
  • Help maintain the company intranet with up-to-date assets and information
  • Conduct industry research for blog posts and whitepapers
  • Actively learn about the industry and share insights on LinkedIn
  • Compose social media posts for company channels
  • Work directly with sales team to help strategize proper hierarchies of appropriate people at hotels
  • Consolidate market relevant data and news to help build a business case for sales conversations
  • Continue to learn and develop cold call abilities through hands-on training

About ALICE:

By joining all of the departments of your hotel with a single operations platform for internal communication and task management, ALICE helps your staff act work together to provide consistently excellent service. ALICE’s main product, "ALICE Suite," brings together your front office, concierge, housekeeping, and maintenance teams, and connects your guests to our app and text messaging tools. The ALICE platform is also available as specialized software and mobile applications for your staff (ALICE Staff), your concierge (ALICE Concierge) and your guests (ALICE Guest). Each module can be integrated with your PMS and third party management systems for maximum integration. We partner with 3-5 star independent and hotel groups, residential condominiums, serviced apartments, vacation rental companies, and concierge companies looking to provide excellent service through mobile staff technology and guest communication channels. Third-party service providers also use the ALICE API for a host of different ways to integrate with PMS and other systems.
